Do you need a license/permit to drive a golfcart in AZ?



Is their any age requirments as well?? The location would be in Phoenix, AZ, in a town called Ahwatukee. Lots of people drive them around, and I know you have to have a registration. But, could you drive one at a young age?? All advice is helpful!

    I thought you had to be over 65 and have a huge pension to drive one of those.

    If you don’t drive on a public road, your O.K.

    Check with your State or county DMV. Where I live (MD), only in gated communities or golf course’s, age 16 plus and no tags or permits required.
