Has any professional golfer started playing golf for the first time in their teens or adulthood?

For example, Ive read that some golfers started playing when they were in their childhoods or preteens: 2 (Tiger), 3 (Sergio), 8 (Lorena), 10 (Paula Creamer), 12 (Annika) and so on, but not teen or adult. Do any of you know if a golfer has started playing for the first time at 15, 16, 18 or 20, etc? Just curious.

I believe that Larry Nelson did not start until his late teens. He was a baseball player until he threw out his arm. Then he changed his efforts to golf. Lee Trevino also started late.

WAY more than you would think started in their mid or even late teens. Ever heard of Nick Faldo? 14 years old. Adam Scott, he started in his mid teens. There are plenty others. You don’t have to be a prodigy. It’s all about talent, logic, athleticism, coordination, and grace under fire. This game is 90% mental.
