Hayfever?



Does anyone know of any hayfever preventions/remedies that are safe to use when pregnant?

    I think they are all safe, but to be extra safe dont listen to any answers from people on here, go and see the doctor or speak to the pharmacist.

    Potters do loads of herbal remedies and I know that they do deal with hayfever but apart from the eye drops, I am not 100% sure of what they are called. Try Holland and Barrett, they have aguide that can say exactly what you can use during pregnancy. I try loads of homeopathic things to try and stop morning sickness which they recommended so am sure they will be able to help you. Good luck!

    The best option is to avoid those environments. cetrizine 10 mg tab once daily is likely to help,but ALWAYS consult a physician b4 taking any pills. Avoid steroids.

    which country are you from? aust/usa? im sure that your counrty has a Dept of health, if so they should have a list of medication that are used like the PBS (+(PBS)-1)
    in australia.. it most drugs on it… by a little research you can see if the medication can be used inconjunction with pregnancy.. pls note that some drugs can be used up till the 3rd tri..if all else fails see you local doctor or pharmacy

    Go to your doctor thats what i had to do. He prescribed me a nasal spray called “Nasonex Aqueous Nasal Spray” You can’t get it over the counter you need a prescription.
