I watch old matches of the greats all the time and then I see what tiger can do and i think there is no doubt he is the best.

I found this, things Tiger has done Jack never did…
• Win four consecutive major championships (2000 U.S. Open – 2001 Masters).
• Win three majors in the same year (2000).
• Win the U.S. Open by 15 strokes. (Nicklaus’s largest margin of victory in golf’s most grueling test was four shots.)
• Win back-to-back British Opens (2005-2006) and PGA Championships (2006-2007).
• Never cough up a 54-hole lead at a major.
• Win eight tournaments in a season. (Woods has done it three times.)
• Win at least five tournaments in five consecutive seasons. (Nicklaus topped out at three.)
• Win seven consecutive starts.
• Win tournaments in Dubai, Japan, Thailand and Germany.
• Make 142 consecutive cuts. (Jack was spent after 105.)
• Finish first on the money list four consecutive years. (From 1999-2002; this year will be three in a row.)
• Win three consecutive U.S. Amateurs (on top of three consecutive U.S. Juniors).

I hear people argue Jack had better competition…I think that’s BS, Jack was just not as dominant when compared to his competition. That made the competition look better.

He’ll have to play for a long time to proove he has the longevity of the “golden bear” , afterall nicklus has prooved for decades why he is the best ever, should’nt tiger?
His accomplishments are tremendous early, but so are daly’s,singhs, mickelson and guys like adam scott who he will have to compete against for years!

I know for a fact that John Daly can smoke more cigarettes than Tiger can in one sitting . I know for fact that John Daly can drink more alcohol than Tiger can . Having said that John DALY can’t carry Tiger’s jock strap . TIGER IS A GOLF STUD PERIOD . There a lot of people that get tired of him winning all the time . Think about that statement ……………tired of Tiger winning all the time !! IF the players are tired of it then do something about it otherwise ……………….BETTER LUCK NEXT TIME AND THE NEXT AND THE NEXT ……..

Whether you like or dislike him as I do he is the greatest golfer ever to live like it or not he is the smartest most prepared golfer or athlete to walk this earth. The reason I do not like him as a golfer is that he is so dominant and personally as for the sport of golf it is not good to have one that is so dominant. As an athlete and how he gives back I give him all the credit in the world for the fact he is a class human being.

I say yes. and whoever thinks jon daly is god, really? I say tiger is better because his putting is better. That makes him the better player.
