What is the Character Deborah Sue in Bye Bye Birdie?
I got the part of Deborah Sue in my school’s production of Bye Bye Birdie. I’ve never seen the play or movie before. Can someone tell me what she is like? And for the play, does she speak alot? I know she doesn’t have any songs but does sing back up for some of them. Choosing best answer!

I am always appalled at the large number of you young actors worrying about the size of their roles. She is a teen in town. Now, if you are more concerned with what good the show will do for your than you are concerned about what good you can be for the show, you should never be in a show. i would not be interested in casting you in that case.
