The show is primarily about the perpetual battle between teenagers and their parents.  If this is a community theater production, most likely the roles of the parents and other adult characters will be played by adults.  If it&#039;s a school production, though, there are a lot of female parts, both singing and speaking:  Kim&#039;s mother, Mrs. Macafee; Rosie Alvarez; and Mrs. Mae Peterson.</description>
